The introduction to planetary development.

Where to begin? This question is daunting beyond comprehension capable as it were to haunt ones dreams at night and cause nervous tremors during the day. But, in this, I am taking some advice from my grandmother who passed away back in 1974 in that whenever she took on a task such as cleaning a room she would often say it does not mater where you start, you just start by starting and ultimately the job will find its way to a conclusion. Simple wisdom that in practice works every time.
The inception/pre-operations-begin
The quest for legitimacy.
Over the years of volunteer and professional work in astronomy and astronomical organizations I have developed a relationship with science centers such as the Kopernik Space Educational Center and observatory complex, The Roberson Museum and Science Center and Link Planetarium, The Cranbrook Institute of Science, The University of Michigan's Peach Mountain Observatory, The Orlando Science Center and The University of Central Florida's Robinson Observatory and others like them loosely configured. I have become aware of and familiar with an umbrella organization known as The Association of Science and Technology Centers or ASTC. Also, I have become aware of the organization called The American Association of Museums or AAM. Both of the above organizations can boast of having hundreds of members not only here in the United States but all around the world. One might ask where an I going with this?
In short, I can think of no better place to start than the arts and sciences. The idea is quite simple and self evident, like any great field of endeavor, organization or what not planetary development as a field needs a recognizable signet. It needs a great seal recognizable to all the citizens of our world. This seal shall be utilized as a back drop in all operations, communications and or facilities. This seal shall legitimize planetary development as an officially sanctioned field of operations across our world and civilization at large. One might ask, how can this come about or come to be?
Quite frankly by a democratic vote and the use of a little imagination. Here it is, planetary development the system and all that comes under its auspices even if it may be crafted by me on its incept, does not and I repeat does not belong to me, it belongs to the whole world. Thus. it is not up to me alone to fashion some kind of signet and then say to the world behold the great seal for planetary development. This would be sheer arrogance and vanity on my part ending the whole thing before it begins.
The craftsmanship of the great seal.
I have had preliminary contact with both ASTC and AAM unto which I queried about the type of joint operations both have had in the past and I was delighted to learn that both have had joint programs with school groups, business groups, private clubs and organizations, as well as government participation with some events. This only reassured me in the task ahead. Since I have already established the fact that the design and manufacture of the great seal shall be a task far greater than myself. It then shall be bestowed to a body large and capable as to formulate a seal integral enough so as to reflect the whole of our civilization.
In brief this process is as follows. Through the use of a little friendly competition both in an across ASTC and AAM on a regional and or national level a number of design concepts would be worked up unto which a dozen or so semifinal designs would then come to the fore front. These semifinal designs would than be forwarded up to the United Nations General Assembly for a vote. This vote will decide which one of the semifinal designs would become the great seal of planetary development. This process establishes credibility and accountably for the field. This seal there after shall be utilized as the official back drop for planetary development across all our civilization.

Yeah, I know, this all sounds crazy, but ask yourself, why aren't we doing something like this anyway? It's a bit past overdue, don't you think...
Understand that this endeavor has and is starting out in a time honored process defined as a transgenerational project. Say hello to the future, my regards to everyone.
