More on the local economy; here are some images from a local car lot where they are selling everything from Jeep Grand Cherokees to Dodge Ram trucks with prices ranging from $35,000 to some $50,000 dollars. There are some 150 of these cars or trucks in the lot as seen. And this is only one car dealership out of dozens scattered across the Cocoa area, which means there are thousands of late model or 2017 vehicles that need to be sold. Judging by the vehicles that you see payments per month given a 60 month spread would come to at least $583.33 per month. This is like a mortgage or paying for an apartment. So tell me, realistically are there thousands of good paying jobs coming along across the Cocoa area capable of supporting these or this kind of sales? I don't think so. Yet they are still bringing the cars into the lots as if there was an economy of scale to meet that sales challenge and clearly there is not. Conclusion, the auto industry is out of touch with reality, in short, their insane, but they keep making them with no economy backing up the industry. Someone is not playing with a full deck here...no reason is put to the thing, what, if you build it they will come...it's just plane nuts: “Now enter in Automatronics Corporation.”
