“Jing-Jin-Ji” The Largest City in the World now being planned by China |
When we look at our civilization and consider population growth and densities of population there is but one country that stands out above the rest that being China, from the western view the internal socio-economic layout has enigmatic qualities that seems to defy reasonable sensibilities in terms of business. Yet the west seems to have forgotten China’s dynastical past. China being one of the oldest countries on earth can and does at times behave oddly as opposed to a western mindset. Even though China is so called ruled by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) you might think that that autocratic system would bully its way around, and it does try with force of arms for sure, still there is another side of China’s culture, despite all the new technologies, that thinks long term, dynastically as in the building and maintaining empire, something China has done very well over thousands of years, you might say it is in their blood. The newest example of this dynastical trend is with their economic zone ideology. Here they have merged industry and commerce with culture and social design. This is very long term or dynastical thinking towards maintaining empire, like the days of old. Only the decisions of the Emperor have been replaced by the CCP and its subsidiaries, and yes this includes business. Such as the general administration of customs (GAC) when June 23, 2014 the GAC announced the integration of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei into a “megaregion” effectively a single city named “Jing-Jin-Ji” adopted from lettering from those three cities. The integration began between Beijing and Tianjin July 1, 2014 where Hebei followed on October 1, 2014. This megaregion, Jing-Jin-Ji according to China’s national and development reform commission (NDRC) shall cover an area of 216,000 square kilometers, with an ultimate population ranging, depending on the source from 100 to 130 million people.

Like any rapidly developing area a properly laid infrastructure can make all the difference, if confusion results, stalls can occur, giving advantages to other regions that are ready to accept new inhabitants and businesses alike. |
